My Approach
My approach is quite relaxed and relatable. I think therapy is co created between the client and the therapist at the boundary where we meet. What I mean by that is I come to the session with all that I am and what I have to offer and you come to the session with all that you are and what your need is at the time. It is at this boundary that we work and create a relationship that is therapeutic.

I am a psychotherapist who lives in Byron Bay. I am interested in working with people who have decided that they do not want to keep doing the same old 'life'. I have shaped my training around my interests and i find I have a passion for helping people to work through a variety of life transitions.
My background is working with loss and grief as well as assisting and accompanying people who wish for healing from addiction and trauma experiences. This can take the shape of a physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual transition. I combine Talking therapy, EMDR, Gestalt with Art Therapy and Sensorimotor Art Therapy in Australia. In more recent years I have assisted with International workshops in Sensorimotor Art Therapy courses with the Institute of Sensorimotor Art Therapy, where I am currently a faculty member. I have trained as a Clay Field Therapist which is a relatively new Sensorimotor Trauma Therapy in Australia. This bottom up therapy has been endorsed by psychiatrists and academics in Germany as improving stability in troubled children who are barely capable of self regulation (Cornelia Elbrecht).
My experience supports adults and children in the Clay Field with opportunities to connect in a deep and profound personal way. My own client's experiences have been transformative. Most recently I have been involved in the filming of therapy sessions with children as part of the new online course through the institute on working with children in the Clay Field.

I have completed an advanced supervision qualification.
